As the other half of The Gut Tribe Kitchen business, Troy stays busy on the weekends and evenings helping out the business while also working full time. He is at every cooking class/ market, prepping with Audrey when needed and you will sometimes even see him on some deliveries. He is our jack of all trades and our #1 taste tester!

Rachel Marley - Naturopath & Nutritionist

Rachel is a passionate Naturopath and Nutritionist who is dedicated in helping people and their families thrive in their health and well-being. With extensive experience in working with children and families, providing a supportive environment for all clients to learn about health and be well. Rachel has a developed and deep understanding of gut health conditions, paediatric neurological conditions and is able to effectively integrate evidence based functional nutritional and herbal medicine in treatment to address the cause of these conditions. Rachel’s vision is to help and empower people and their families in health by providing the best quality care, treatment and education in a supportive environment. We are so lucky to have Rachel at The Gut Tribe Kitchen sharing her extensive knowledge of gut health with us.

Anna runs a business named Soul Broths! She is a mother of two toddlers who knows the value of healthy eating habits and aims to demonstrate this to them by living a healthy and fulfilled life. Having discovered broth at seventeen, Anna has been making and perfecting it ever since. First falling in love with the taste, then experiencing the benefits of broth on the gut, mind and body! Anna has a Postgraduate degree in Psychology and a keen interest in the mind-body connection. Over the many years Anna worked in the health and welfare sector and saw just how significant the role of nutrition plays in health and well-being. These observations and her own experience with broth propelled her to want to start Soul Broths.

We are so pleased to partner up with Fretzy Kookie cafe in Rosanna, Melbourne! Both of our businesses focus on helping others especially when it comes to allergies and intolerance's. Maria Althen is the baker and decorator behind Fretzy Kookie, which creates personalised sweets. She began baking and cooking in the early 2000s , drawing on her experience as a Graphic Designer and her passion for colour, Maria creates bold and colourful designs for a wide array of personal and corporate events. Since becoming a mum, Maria likes to experiment with new healthier ingredients, without compromising on her signature flavours and creative designs. Her new project involves working on allergy-friendly sweets, maintaining flavours and textures that will soon be available.

Dale Perkins - Gut Health Guru

Dale is a mum of two beautiful kids! Based in Steels Creek in the Yarra Valley, Dale is passionate about growing organic food and nourishing our bodies with healthy choices. After completing a certificate in permaculture design, Dale realised that growing and eating good food doesn’t need to be daunting. It only takes a few simple steps to make big changes to the way you think about sourcing food from your own back yard. The connection between your gut and mental/physical health is imperative. Improve your immune system, digestion, clarity and balance by focusing on your gut health. Dale runs our Gut Health Workshops.

Kelly Meredith - Collaborator

Kelly Meredith - Collaborator

Joining The Gut Tribe kitchen is cook Kelly Meredith who for 8 years has run a successful condiments label. Under the Pickle Tree specialises in using Victorian ingredients to create a range of Asian-inspired relishes, curry pastes and marinades sold at Victorian Farmers Markets. In 2019, Under the Pickle Tree opened a purpose built cooking school in rural Panton Hill to share her love of Thai and Vietnamese street food recipes learned while living in those two countries. Her particular passion is Asian and Middle Eastern salads that she will add to The Gut Tribe range of healthy and gut-friendly home delivered meals.
