Your emotional health controls your physical health and it’s super important to look after what goes in your body and how to best fuel it. Think of how much sleep you get, how much movement you do, what types of foods you are eating, the amount of water you drink, and the type of people you surround yourself with. These all play important factors when taking care of your physical and mental health.
Audrey; My Clean Eating Journey
I started my clean eating journey 1.5 years ago. As a chef, you are taught classic ways of cooking food which unfortunately isn’t the healthiest and best for your body. After many years of cooking in large hotels and for larger businesses, I believed there had to be a better way of delivering filling and nutrient rich food without sacrificing flavour. At the time, my physical health was suffering and I looked for a way to not only help myself feel better but help others as well. I’m particularly passionate about helping those with food intolerance’s and allergies to eat delicious food and feel as though they are not missing out.
This all led me to create The Gut Tribe Kitchen. We focus on helping you learn the best way to feed yourself and your family in the tastiest way possible. We do one-on-one in home meal prep sessions, focusing on gluten, dairy, and processed sugar free cooking, cooking classes-ranging from fermenting, Low FODMAP, DF/GF, and vegetarian/vegan classes, healthy products like salts and spice mixes, and retreat/event catering as well.
