The truth is meal prepping is not the problem. The problem is finding the time to do it. We tend to make the time to do things we want to do. Meal prepping can feel like quite the chore. So, what is the best way to maximise efficiency and minimise time?
Mark down the days and time you will be prepping (i.e.-Sunday morning). Make an appointment with YOU! Put this on a calendar (along with a reminder), and put a note on the fridge or in your phone. Treat it like an appointment you can’t miss. This is self-care and you need this time to devote to yourself. Plan a 30-minute block at the same time of the week in addition to your meal prep time to sit down and write out a menu plan for the week. Research online for some recipe ideas, scan through this group, or better yet ask the group for suggestions.
